Listen, I don't care where I am - I never met a ramen I didn't like. Bakudan is just a short walk from home and yet I have never tried it, so I popped in with some friends for a quick lunch and was delighted from start to finish! The selection of ramen options (although, watch out, their website menu and what they offer in store are definitely not the same) provide you with plenty of traditional and modern options alike. Add on prices for the bowls are high, but in comparison to other ramen shops not the worst I have seen which is a plus. I added the habanero bomb to my bowl and at long last a menu indicating something was dangerously spicy finally delivered! It is disappointing when I order something hoping for it to be as spicy as I want then have it fall short, that was not an issue at Bakudan! My bowl as well as the other three ordered were all devoured in no time! Everyone we encountered - from the front of house, to our server, to another server just passing by when he hopped in to tell us his favorite dish - were super friendly and welcoming! It seems that the employees have fostered a happy environment which is great! If it is too hot to sit outside, you are in for a treat inside with plenty of Japanese/Anime themed decoration lending to the entire experience. Now that I know Bakudan is worth the trip, I will be going far more often over other restaurant options at The Rim!

The food was absolutely delicious. The place looked lovely and the vibes were amazing. Only thing the music was a little loud. Our waitress was sweet and took care of us. We will definitely be coming back.

Really great service! First time having Ramen and I was impressed. I order spicy Miso ramen. I love spicy food and would have ordered without the egg and more spicy but really liked it. Loved the atmosphere and the service. Waitress helped explain the menu and was very understanding to my lack of knowledge. Would definitely try again
